I have an extension for Arcmap 931 that connects to Oracle 10 client for data access. In windows XP, it works fine. If I install the extension on Windows 7 machine. It give this error. I am not sure what is missing here. I made sure that we have oracle client for 64 bit installed on this machine.

Attempt to load Oracle client libraries threw badImageFormatException. This problem will occur when running in 64 bit mode with the 32 bit Oracle client component installed.

Looking for any feedback.

Thanks for the feedback. I tried running ArcMap in Xp compatibility mode but that didnt make any difference. I am curious how to setup "set the oracle 64 client in the environment settings" option. would like to try this. – jayGIS Sep 21 '11 at 21:03
