Shouldn't be closed. Covers "exactly the same ground" but in the opposite direction, and as such is a unique question. Shuffling questions shouldn't be closed because a sorting question has been asked/answered. – mankoff Aug 27 '10 at 2:53

If you'd like a GUI, you can use QGIS. It uses OGR/GDAL in the background.
