Well I revise my post by giving more information for my problem hoping I may get some help please.

I call Procedure 2 from a loop that is within Procedure 1 (see below). The program stacks in the line that creates Thiessen polygons i.e. GP.CreateThiessenPolygons_analysis.... That line is highlighted yellow and arises the message “a run-time error -2147467259 (80004005)”. Below I note Procedures 1 and 2 in VBA. The strange thing is that when I run Procedure 2 isolated by typing the arguments works fine.

I would appreciate it very much helping me because I stacked about a week in just this point and I cannot find out the problem. Thanks Demetris

With shapefiles doesn't work for me. I have to use personal geodatabases or file geodatabases.

On a lark, try this toolset to see if it works with your data http://resources.arcgis.com/gallery/file/geoprocessing/details?entryID=1E56696E-1422-2418-3462-F19FDA7E8B86 shapefile input, shapefile output to a folder. Just to rule out data issues, Thiessen is Voronoi in other fields.

Thanks for the tool.I have to note that the same code works fine in another procedure. Even, as I added in the posting, when I exit ArcGIS and rerun the procedure it runs OK for once but it presents the noted problem in the second round of a loop. –  Demetris Jan 11 '12 at 5:48

Based on your code, it does not appear you defined an output path for your OutputThiessens variable.

OutputThiessens = "C:\LACONISS\LandSpaCES\Thiessen" & BlockID & "_" & popNo & ".shp"

Have you tried this?
