Trying to find a solution to heat maps on IE7/IE8 (i.e. not using Canvas/HTML5/heatmapapi). Any ideas?

Which kind of "heatmap" are you referring to? A raster image with gently (or not) graduated colors? Or a polygon "chloropleth" map. – jvangeld Apr 11 '12 at 21:03

I'm looking for a "classic" colored gradient like this (patrick-wied.at/static/heatmapjs), but for it to work in IE7. I've seen posts which allude to this being possible (code.google.com/p/canvas-text/source/browse/trunk/…) but have not seen any end product... – Phil Penn Apr 11 '12 at 22:36
