I have a text file with all field information how can create new polygon shape file table with the text file..

text file having following content..

NAME    LAYER   GM_TYPE KML_FOLDER  ID  PERIMETER   ENCLOSED_A  LLX LLY LRX LRY ULX ULY URX URY 
Unknown Area    0   4.061   1.026   6.92218 51.25521    6.93708 51.25521    6.92218 51.26411    6.93708 51.26411
Unknown Area    0   4.061   1.026   5.86761 49.88782    8.46682 49.88782    5.86761 51.62475    8.46682 51.62475

Please specify what Shapefile you want as output (points, lines, polygons) also what type of information are in your text file/field data. – maning Apr 27 '12 at 6:19
a shape-file conists of more than one individual file. please specify, what you data you have (geometry-data: Points, lines, polygons? or other-data, aka non-geometry-data like no of people living in each district...) and what you want to create: a shape-file geometry e.g. mydata.shp which may contain points or lines or polygons. or do you want to create a non-geometry-data-file for usage with a shapfile, e.g. mydata.dbf. for such data acutally the old dbase-fileformat is used – Kurt Apr 27 '12 at 6:29
