I've uploaded a few scripts into the ESRI galleries (which were an update to the legacy ArcScripts) in the past and I just wanted to upload an updated addin someone has asked about...

I might be missing something but it seems to me that ESRI managed to make the already convoluted maze of their websites even more complex.

It seems that there is a new structure in place whereby I need to create an ArcGIS account (separate from ESRI global account) in order to upload content.

The problem is that although there is a 30-day free trial, it seems that I will only be able to upload and manage content by the means of "My Content" for which i need an ArcGIS online paid subscription.

Is this correct? Will we now need to pay ESRI to upload our custom content and tools?
