I have downloaded the sampe dataset under "my documents". When I extract the contents of the zip file, the only folders that are actually installed, are "gml", "gps" and "shapefiles".

Thus, "climate", "csv", "grassdata" and "raster" do not get extracted correctly.

Does anyone have an idea of what is going here?

qgis.org/downloads/qgis_sample_data.zip is probably the dataset in question - hence its qgis we're talking about. But the download appears to be ok for me. – jef Jun 21 '12 at 19:06
@jef, you are right I just downloaded and unzipped the testdata they are ok .LaurentFranckx: maybe your download is corrupted? try to download the data once again – Kurt Jun 22 '12 at 5:02

Downloaded and extracted the qgis data OK. Works for Me! So my asnwer is that the user should look to local issues. – Willy Jan 28 at 23:57
