Just out of interest:

ESRI seems to have a new embedded webserver in AGS 10.1, anyone know what technology they have used to build it?

Also, is that the same webserver that the new ArcGIS Runtime api will use?

Apache Tomcat. No idea if it is the same as the ArcGIS runtime API. I'll check the jar files late today.

As a sidenote, the 10 Java edition also had an embedded Tomcat and also Apache Derby for the security store. –  Simon Jun 28 '12 at 11:59

So is AGS 10.1 backend all written in Java then? –  Erik Jun 28 '12 at 12:39
