  1. QGIS 1.8 installed with OSgeo4W
  2. Windows 7
  3. shp - right click - save as - kml - WGS84
  4. the resulting kml instead of a polygon in Italy is a bunch of segments spread over the south pole I suppose the problem arises from the georeference GA
