I added some GPS way points on land use layer. but way points are not in exact place.(Way points are located at little bit away from exact place)

I want to adjust way points to exact place.

GPS was Magellan 610 My PC's OS is windows 7

They all little bit away from exact location. and map frame with GCS_WGS_1984_44N CRS, And GPS shape file also with GCS_WGS_1984_44N CRS. I'm Using QGIS 1.7 for this activity.

How much are they out? Is it uniform? What coordinate system is your mapframe in, what coordinates did you capture your data in? What program are you using to map this? – Geoist Jul 12 '12 at 6:42

The only question you didn't answer was "is it uniform?". What I mean by this is: are all of the points off (say) to the north west by exactly 20m each, or is the separation vector of a variable direction and length. One symptom will be easy to solve, while the rest will be a quite a laborious task depending on the number of points. Given that, how many points are there, and does this happen frequently? – Geoist Jul 12 '12 at 11:38
