I was quite astonished to see that QGIS 1.8 cannot delete shp fields. I looked for a solution and found that there is a plugin called the Table Manager. After installing ALL of the 3rd party plugin repositories, I looked for the plugin but it doesn´t appear. So how can I delete a field with QGIS? Thanks for any advice, Robert |

SOLVED: I could in fact delete a field ....I just didn´t know how. The layer had to be in editing modus!! |
