I am a graduate student @ Clemson University and am working on a GIS based project which is to model different sea level rise scenarios and estimate its impacts on a coastal county and to suggest measures to reduce the risk involved.

I have requested data from FREAC (Florida Resources and Environmental Analysis Center) and got 5ft. and 10ft. DEMs for 2 counties. I also have shapefiles of the counties with the parcel data.

Now, I am trying to figure out the best way to model the scenarios. Let me know if there are any methods used previously or any suggested methods.

I did a very similar analysis in my first GIS class. I used LiDAR data from the Seattle area. Here's the poster that I made (it's a little dated, and I'm sure there are some mistakes):

Sea level rise poster

This is a fairly simple analysis to do. The one tricky part is using NOAA's VDatum tool to find the mean higher high tide value for your study area.
