I am trying to create a simple user interface that displays information for each crash located on the routes. I also need to display a graph along with that. I am a beginner in Python with no prior programming knowledge. Please help!

welcome to the GIS stack exchange site. You're going to need to give us WAY more information if you want to get some help. Please outline what you're trying to do (What crash? What route?), and whether you're talking about a desktop application, a web map, etc. – Stephen Lead Sep 25 '12 at 1:14
Thanks. I have high ranked crash locations on intersections, ramp and roadway segments as shapefiles. I need to program GUI such that I can display the results spatially along with graphs and tables for each crash sites such that any user with no prior gis knowledge can see the results. Actually I want to do this in arcmap 10 ( ArcGIS Desktop). And that is only possible through python I guess...but I dont have much experience in it.
