Geographic Information Systems Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for cartographers, geographers and GIS professionals. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have a large number of Google Earth placemarks and 3-6 photos corresponding to each one. I would like to insert the photos into the properties of the placemark so that when the placemark is selected, the photos appear. If I could create a slideshow of the images (so that only one appears at a time), that would be wonderful.

I know someone already posted a question about this and received an answer with some html code to create a slideshow, but I was unable to get the code to work properly.

Also, is it possible to insert images into Google Earth that are only saved locally on my computer, as opposed to uploaded onto the internet?

Thank you very much for your time and effort in responding

If your photos are in picasa web albums then you can use - picasaweb.google.com/104227551250220639954/VegasWeekend/… (top right view in Google Earth) – Mapperz Oct 2 '12 at 15:27
