I have come across something weird which doesn't make any sense to me. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this, or has any idea why this may be happening.

I have a server box with Windows Server 2008 where I have installed both QGIS 1.7.4 and QGIS 1.8.0. I am using Georeferencer to georectify archived aerial photography with current digital ortho imagery as the source. When I collect my GCPs and run the transformation (I have used Polynomial 1 and Linear) the output is shifted north by 35km. With the same data, GCPs and transformation method I have successfully produced an output image on two different machines that are using Windows 7.

I find it hard to believe that Windows Server 2008 is altering the transformation, but I can't see any other impact or variable. Any insight, simular situation or alterations I can do would be appreciated.

Thanks...
