I am using ArcGIS 9.3.1. For some time I have had no problem importing a raster file into my geodatabase. That's recently changed and I have absolutely no idea why. Every time I try to import a raster file, I receive an error message that says: "Problem generating Output Raster Name (ERROR 999999: Error executing function.)" I am at a loss...any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it a file geodatabase? Can you import the same raster into another geodatabase? Is the raster stand-alone, or in another geodatabase? Potential schema locks? Lots of possibilities with generic error 999999. – Baltok Nov 7 '12 at 17:10
It is a file geodatabase and I cannot import any raster file into any geodatabase (stand alobne raster or from another geodatabase) without the error coming up. However, while in ArcMap I can right click in the table of contents and go to data and export the raster into a geodatabase. But I cannot import in ArcCatalog. The most frustrating part of it all, is that I was able to import rasters into geodatbases last week! I don't know what could have changed... – Jarrod Loerzel Nov 8 '12 at 16:07
