I have an image mosaic of 5 Landsat TM5 scenes. Where the scenes overlap there is a dark band, only on the left and right sides, but the top and bottom are seamless. What is the best way to correct this in Erdas 2011?

Maybe just trimming away the borders will do the problem away... ? See How to trim Landsat 5 scene edges – Nikos Alexandris Jan 4 at 22:53
can you post an image or link to an image? – gm70560 Mar 29 at 19:11

Since the original poster asked for something in Erdas 2011, it probably won't help them to post something in ArcGIS. Also, as you've seen from other comments, please provide some context around your answers. – BradHards Apr 9 at 9:18

We're looking for long answers that provide some explanation and context. Don't just give a one-line answer: please explain why you're recommending it as a solution. Answers that don't explain anything will be deleted. See Good Subjective, Bad Subjective for more information.
