Looking for a tutorial on syncing QGIS with Trimble ProXT

Question

Does anyone have any experience/advice to sync a TrimbleProXT gps antenna with the current "Lisboa" 1.8.0v?

Additionally did you manage to collect features (points,line,polygons) in the field ok? let me know if there was any gripes or issues so I can be forwarned ?

A fools guide step by step guide would be very usefull for this newbie! Best Ian
