I create some features of polygon. And then, I put label with labeling from tool bar.

I could confirm label of few features. On the other hand, I could not see the label of another features.

I try to change scale, place of label and coloring. Still I can not see some label.

Is there any reason? Is this a bug of QGIS?

I am using Qgis 1.8.0 with Windows 7.

Try checking your polygons geometry validity (vector/geometry tools/geometry validity). This happens to me once and the problem was that I had "bleeding polygons" (polygons with a geometry problem). Hope it helps. – Gerardo Jimenez Jan 29 at 19:23
Can you provide a screenshot of the problem. Maybe QGIS doesn't label all polygons because labels would collide - since there is not enough space. Hard to tell without seeing your map. – underdark♦ Jan 29 at 19:58
are those missing lables due to null/empty values in the label field? – vinayan Jan 30 at 3:20
