I'm not sure if I'm doing this right and I need your opinion on this current situation. I'm creating a Web Interface using django and postgres as the database. With regards to the slippy map, I went with using apache and mod_tile. The tiles where first designed in tilemill and then used the generated xml file with the generate_tiles.py. Am I doing this right or are there other alternatives? Just in case, the web interface will be used to draw lines on the map as routes and store them for querying.
