I have created a thematic map in MapInfo v11.

When I make the legend translucent (so that information underneath the coloured polygons is partly visible) the labels in the legend disappear! This happens at all levels of translucency (from 1-100%) but they re-appear as soon as it is reset to 0%.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Or even why it's happening? The only solution I have is to create text boxes in the layout window and type the info in manually (which almost negates the point of the legend in the first place!)

What is the full version of MapInfo you are using? I just tried to duplicate this on 11.5.1 and couldn't reproduce it. I think the latest version is now 11.5.2. Do you have the ability to upgrade? – Fezter Feb 12 at 4:56
Hi, thanks for having a go. I've gone back to it this morning, been through exactly the same process and it's working fine now. Must just have been one of those little quirks with MapInfo :-) – user15066 Feb 12 at 9:33
