I have a polyline layer and a point layer. Some of the points are on the polylines, but the polylines do not have vertex in these points. How can i insert vertex there ?

Please use the tags to specify which GIS software and version you are using (for example arcgis-10.1 if you are using ArcGIS 10.1). Please also clarify if you are looking to do this programmatically and with what API. Given your question history you look to be using ArcGIS and ArcObjects but it is not clear from this question when considered on its own. – blah238 Mar 12 at 9:08
