could you add the contents of your error window? It would make it easier to pinpoint the problem. – Jay Guarneri Mar 12 '13 at 16:18
I'd start by separating the GPX download/upload procedure from QGIS, there are quite a few freely available programs that will let you transfer GPX files between a Garmin and your PC, try GPS Trackmaker (, DNRGarmin, and GPS Utility ( – Dan C Mar 12 '13 at 16:22
First, I need at leas 10 reputations to post images.... – patawaitte Mar 12 '13 at 17:18
I know there are others programs, but I had a procedure with Qgis. It was working well for me and my colleagues working uninitiated. it's really too bad that there is no alternative. do you have any idea WHY is not working anymore?? – patawaitte Mar 12 '13 at 17:24
Put the error image on another image hosting site, and link here. Please understand that we can't see your screen, so if you don't provide a detailed description we can't help you. – BradHards Mar 13 '13 at 10:16
