In the image below, you can see a curved label of a river and two alternatives. Qgis choose exactly the wrong one :) (it should be the first one). How to tell qgis which one is the right one and which is not? enter image description here

The image is a good start, but not very clear. Perhaps you can make it bigger, show a bit more of the raster, add an arrow or similar. Also, you could expand the question to explain why you think its wrong. – BradHards Mar 17 at 5:57
