I've installed the GeoServer that comes with the Open GeoSuite on Ubuntu. I've created an HTML page (index.html) inside the /usr/share/opengeo-suite-data/geoserver_data/www/ for viewing maps using OpenLayers. index.html is working fine in local directory.

To deploy my Web Map Server on the Web Server environment, how could I configure my Ubuntu Server? Many thanks in advanced.

Welcome to SE.GIS forum . Your question it little bit unclear to me .Do you want to set the Ubuntu as your web server? –  Sunil Mar 18 '13 at 6:16

Yes, I'd like to set my Ubuntu server as a Web Map Server. There is a tomcat6 installed and Apache web server installed by default. I'd like to deploy my Web Map Server on existing Web Server. E.g. Adding map.mydomain.com in mydomain.com –  user16270 Mar 18 '13 at 6:55
