I a trying to project a signed byte .tiff file (sea ice concentration data) from a uniform unprojected grid (latitudes: -89.875° to 89.875° by 0.25°, longitudes:-179.875° to 179.875° by 0.25°) to NSIDC Sea Ice Polar Stereographic North (EPSG:3411). I am using the following gdal 1.9.2 command:
gdalwarp -t_srs "EPSG:3411" -te -1200000 -3600000 1200000 0 -tr 20000 20000 -ot Float64 -r bilinear -srcnodata -128 "input.tif" "output.tif"
The command produces a .tiff file containing only zeros which is inconsistent with the values in the input data. No error message is displayed.
Any idea why this is not working correctly?
