I am trying to deal with the aggregate data in Africover, I want to separate for example the mixed class – In North Kurdufan if I want the 6R from 2H/6R what is the a correct equation I have to write in the SQL box?

Also what is the difference between this and the Function of: Split, in the Vector menu?

Hello Nora, welcome to gis.stackexchange! Could you please edit your question and explain a bit more of your problem. For instance, how is africacover data organized. Are you saying that, in an attribute, you have both "6R" values and "2H/6R" and you want to select all features having "6R" even if it's mixed with other? –  Alexandre Neto Apr 23 '13 at 11:56
