I have configured my Apache Server to broadcast 4 subdomains to my WMS services. I am using TileCache to serve locally generated (pre-seeded) tiles with ms4w. Here are example urls which request the tiles for all 4 subdomains:
Now, Apache is queuing the requests for tiles (Chrome Network tool says its "blocking") in the order and processing them one by one. This is significantly slowing down my OpenLayers map since I can have anywhere from 3-6 WMS layers turned on at a time (upwards of ~50 tiles to request). I have tried passing the 4 urls to the layer configuration, and while this does change request url, Apache still only serves one image request at a time.
I fear that this is a limitation with Python for TileCache. Perhaps the script cannot be run simultaneously and therefore explaining the queuing that occurs even with multiple urls. If not, maybe I need to configure Apache to allow multiple simultaneous requests to this python script?
