Does anyone know if there was a program or specific method (calculations) in order to create a deviation value based on querying specific geological and drilling variables?

@PolyGeo broken link, this one works though : – Kirk Kuykendall May 18 '13 at 2:24
What GIS software are you looking to use for this? You have a tag for geosoft so is it Target for ArcGIS and ArcGIS for Desktop 10.1? – PolyGeo May 18 '13 at 8:31
@PolyGeo I have a temporary license for Geosoft's target Extension but was wondering if there was another type of software to specifically calculate borehole deviation. – Andrew May 18 '13 at 15:38
Basically I have to create a deviation variable (using drilling and geological variables - at the moment I am querying the data and using trig calculations to generate this value). I then need to visualize this deviation around a borehole (xyz coordinates) I believe I can do this by programming a toolbar button via ArcObjects to create a TIN from point data and displaying it in a 3D layout? – Andrew May 18 '13 at 15:42
