I need help exporting a personal geodatabase Feature Class to an ArcSDE geodatabase using C# ArcObjects with ArcGIS 9.3. I just want to replicate the tool Feature Class to Feature Class (Conversion) found under the To Geodatabase toolset in the Conversion toolbox.

I was able to do this conversion from a personal geodatabase to a personal geodatabase. In the case of export to an ArcSDE geodatabase, the operation fails. Perhaps the problem is that I am unable to set the output path because in the Open File dialog I am not getting .sde files.

Any help please?

Hi! welcome to Gis.Stackexchange! What have you tried so far? where are you stuck? Are you using ArcObjects? Which version of ArcGIS do you have? Without these kinds of details, this question cannot be answered. – Devdatta Tengshe Jun 13 '13 at 10:44
Yes, i am using arcobjects. I have used featureclasstofeatureclass to get work done. This is working fine in case of pgdb to pgdb, but in case of sde it is a failure straightaway. Perhaps, the problem is that i am unable to set the output path because in openfiledialog i am not getting .sde files. I am using Arcgis 9.3. Hoping for some help... – Navish Jun 13 '13 at 11:18
Rather than add this extra information as comments can you use it to revise and improve your question, please? – PolyGeo Jun 13 '13 at 11:25

Why can you not select .sde files? – Devdatta Tengshe Jun 13 '13 at 12:09
