Geographic Information Systems Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for cartographers, geographers and GIS professionals. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm having a ton of trouble getting the data I need from the USGS. I have taken a look at the 10m DEM quad index and know exactly which quads I need, but cannot find a source to download them from.

The National Map does not seem to allow you to download specific quads.

I started the project I'm working on in Utah, which provides a 10m DEM via ftp ( ftp://ftp.agrc.utah.gov/DEM/10meter_dem/ ), I didn't realize how spoiled I was. It's next to impossible to get this data from anywhere else.

Where can I download specific 10m dem quads?

Esri's World Elevation Services lists NED as a source. –  Kirk Kuykendall Jul 3 '13 at 2:36
