I have ArcGIS 10.1 and Xtools 10.0, each time .mxd is saved there is a .xml file created. How do you prevent the creation of the .xml file with the same name as the .mxd? Where in the Xtools menu is that an option?

what is the question? – SS_Rebelious Jul 8 '13 at 19:43
How do I stop the .xml from being created? Is there a way to turn it off. – Carla GB Jul 8 '13 at 22:02
It is required. Why do you want it to be stopped? – Dan Patterson Jul 8 '13 at 23:15
This is happening because of Arc Hydro tools, not as a requirement for metadata management. I have contacted Aquaveo as their current help section is out of date. – Carla GB Jul 9 '13 at 15:48
