I have in QGIS a network with lines connected with nodes/vertices.
For example vertices in roads or a corner of an border. I want to move the a vertex so that all lines that are connected to this node will be reshaped and moved.

QGiS does not seem to support this. Is there any other OS software that does?

Answer: UDIG can do this

Do you want to move the complete lines, or only one node of those lines? Snapped vertices would offer you the second. –  Andre Joost Sep 2 '13 at 14:43
