With QGIS 2.01, the plugin Contour is not available. Anyone have another method to create contours from point / shapefile source, where the points are not a grid?

At first, I was overlooking a projection problem, but am trying Processing Toolbox Models Contour Lines from Points, but it hangs. This is typical of behaviour with the Contours plugin if the extent was too large. I don't see how to constrain the processing toolbox model tool to prevent this problem. – Willy Sep 20 '13 at 3:03

So the Processing Toolbox Model Contour Lines from Points will work in trunk, but how to constrain it to a polygon rather than a rectangular bounding box? – Willy Sep 20 '13 at 4:43
