Geographic Information Systems Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for cartographers, geographers and GIS professionals. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm trying to install QGIS 2.0 on Windows XP but when the download begins, suddenly OSGeo4W show me this message:

 Unable to extract/2
  #define FT_SUBLYPH_FLAG_ROUND_XY_TO_GRID
  #define FT_SUBGLYPH_FLAG_SCALE -- the file is already in use.
  Please stop all OSGeo4W processes and select "Retry", or select "Continue" to go on anyway
  (You will need to reboot)

Nothing happens neither if I choose retry nor if I choose continue, and I must to shut down the installation

Hint? :-)

Have you ran the setup as an administrator? microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/… –  tudorbarascu Nov 24 '13 at 19:00
