Geographic Information Systems Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for cartographers, geographers and GIS professionals. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am trying to add a precompiled non-standard GRASS module to QGIS 2.0.1 (MAC OS 10.9.1, using the binaries by Kyngchaos). Adapting the instructions here (http://hub.qgis.org/projects/quantum-gis/wiki/Adding_New_Tools_to_the_GRASS_Toolbox) I have copied the GRASS module to /Applications/QGIS.app/Contents/MacOS/grass/bin and the module description together with two thumbnails to /Applications/QGIS.app/Contents/Resources/grass/module. Finally, I have added a line with the module name to the file default.qgc residing in /Applications/QGIS.app/Contents/Resources/grass/config/. Still, however, the module does not appear in the list of available modules in the GRASS toolbox in QGIS (restarted, of course).

Any hints towards a possible solution are very much appreciated.
