Refers primarily to graticules and questions about drawing or constructing them. Use the `raster` tag for questions about grid-based datasets.
A grid is a regular partition of a spatial domain into congruent, non-overlapping cells, or a set of lines forming such a pattern (aka "graticule"). This tag is for grids used as a method of reference to parts of a spatial domain for location or analysis. For example, a feature is located in cell C4 on the map, or there are x occurrences in this cell but only y in the adjacent cell.
