I am a GIS Analyst working my way up to a developer. I am good with php scripting but currently working to get good hands on phython scripting which looks really good to me. I love Python and would really want to be an expert in it.

I have implemented so many successful GIS projects and currently working on one in an enterprise environment. I intend to use the python scripting for all my automations.

For instance all my field data comes in the form From Location(NW-05-046-06-W5M) To location(05-046-06-W5M)

I am able to do this manually, but then I have over 500,000 data to work on

They already have known UTM zones and some Lat\lon coordinates. but in my own case, I am dealing with survey data which comes only with DLS information (comprising of the Township, range, meridian info) and then the (Easting and Northing) info for the location. I cannot do much with these data if I dont have the UTM zone and so I need to extract the UTM zones of these data(>500,000 data) somehow before I can proceed.

Please I would employ you to take a second look at my posting to see that it is not in any way closely related to the ones you listed above.
