comment Stitching thousand of 32 bit Tiff without geographic information
I had to use another solution since I didn't have enough skill to use quickly this method, anyway now I have time so I'm back. I will use OpenCV and FREAK or SURF to do that. I'm not sure how should I proceed to apply this solution to 150 images. Should I do the individual work for img1 img2 then img2 img3. I think that I got the main idea and now what I have to do is actually apply it to my dataset. Thanks anyway that is a really clean solution that you submited

Thank you, I succeed to play with two tiff, indeed it might be pretty easy to script this work, however the rotation looks a bit tricky since in hugin it's given as roll pitch yaw and in the world file in Y and X difference pixel. I will dig a bit more to see if i can find a translation function. Thanks

What I don't get with this solution, which looks great by the way, is how to define the coordinates of the corners. I have the list of ground control points in the Hugin project file but they aren't the corners coordinates. What did I miss? I feel that this might be a really good solution but I'm clueless on how to do it :/

The resolution is about 0.5m/pixel

Thank you for the answer, I give another try then. What do you mean by Make sure to set the raster storage environment for compression, building pyramids and calculating statistics. My raster doesnt have the same resolution should I fix that beforehand?

That sounds great! I just have to figure out how to script that for my 5000 pictures :D. And I didn't get yet how to actually stitch them together but i'm working on it

Thanks! Is this solution working with some 32 bit tiff?

Thanks a lot for the answer, I have indeed a GPS track. The only choice for the extraction are png, jpeg, csv, Tiff, 32 bit tiff, FITS so the only one which does not compress the data is 32 bit TIFF. I've got some GPS track and some optical data as well nothing more.

Is it so easy to do that nobody want to answer :D? Or is the question not accurate?

Yes, sorry i couldn't post any picture since i'm new user, i want to smooth a raster file in order to give it smooth delimitation instead of the squared one. hpics.li/b6f13ca
