How to Create Two Color Lines in QGIS? I gotcha. I was only saying that you don't have to, not that you shouldn't :) |

GeoServer OpenLayers preview always points to localhost:8080 We recently configured our OpenGeo Community Suite to use port 8081 at install time. That was successful, but I am not sure how to change an installed instance. |

How to limit visibility in OpenScales? I've never heard about Open Scales. This should be an interesting discussion. openscales.org |

What annoys you about your GIS Environment? Another +1 for AutoCAD. The program itself runs like a sloth now, but the ICL idea is the best idea in software. Thankfully, you can use the search functionality in Windows 7's start menu to approximate an ICL, especially since you just have to hit the "Win" key to get to it. Now if only we could convince other software designers to prioritize the keyboard over the mouse. |

What are some Domain Specific Languages (DSLs) for GIS? If by dead you mean that it is not actively developed anymore or that hardly anyone uses it, then it is dead. But if it is a domain-specific language it is a valid answer for the question. Since we haven't seen a definition of DSL we can't know that at this point. |

How do I convert existing fields to lat and long using the Calculate Field tool? Are you converting the X and Y coordinates in order to reproject the data? |

GPS Garmin in Field Data collection Hey Dan, I just see a bunch of points and two circles. Can you specify which points were taken by which GPS, or if either of those circles correlates to a GPS? |
