Why should a user choose to use open source software in their remote sensing research? I used FOSS software in my academic project two years ago for the reasons outlined above. Above all I did not want to use pirated software! (Universities don't issue free student licenses here). I always feel proud to say my research was accomplished with 100% FOSS4G applications. |

How can I enable Shapefile GUI Loader in pgadmin3? I faced the same issue with the plugin on Ubuntu 12.04. Followed similar steps outline above except for different file paths. I had to set PGBINDIR environment variable as well. I have explained the steps I followed in my blog post: staygeo.com/2013/05/enabling-postgis-shapefile-and-dbf.html |

OpenGeo 3.0.2 Suite not starting on Windows 8 Pro 64 bit How did you try to launch the .bat file? Can you try typing this: opengeo-suite start at the command prompt? |

A machine to measure latitude to 6 decimal places of a degree Tom, the machine you are referring to is called a GPS.
