Are large companies successfully using SQL Server GeoSpatial functionality? I feel this is not really an answer to the question. |

Crowdsourcing: Alternatives to Ushahidi Open Data Kit does not seem to be a solution to what I have been looking for. ODK largely eases out the information collection process through mobile devices. But I am looking for something which can accept data from social media/web as a whole. |

How to import .flt files into GRASS? @teamAngat, not a good suggestion, but still have you tried posting the question on GRASS User's mailing list? |

What is Lanczos resampling useful for in a spatial context? That's true. I just gave the answer in a general sense for What's Lanczos and how does using it affect the output? |

What is Lanczos resampling useful for in a spatial context? Why down vote? What is wrong with this answer? I have given the original link as well. |

View data of a particular year in Google Earth My concern is not to look at the year-by-year Landsat layers but to overlay the vectorized raster(as KML) which are a result of image classification operations carried out on Landsat data i.e., I want to check how my layers look on particular year's high resolution GE data. |

Scripting in GRASS I am mainly looking for shell/bash scripts. If it's important I use GRASS in Ubuntu 11.04. |

Scripting in GRASS Currently I am thinking of implementing basic repetitive tasks like performing supervised classification on different groups/subgroups in a mapset. But I am interested to know about complex implementation scenarios as well. |

FME - Convert DWG to JPG The procedure to use ImageRasterizer is something like this. |

FME - Convert DWG to JPG Have you taken care of this caveat: The fme_color attribute of the input vector features is used to generate pixel values. Features without an fme_color attribute will be discarded. |

Open Source Map Composing Tool Though I was aware of ps.map in GRASS I didn't know about wx.psmap! Seems like it was added recently since the 6.4.2 version. Thanks for that since I primarily use GRASS. |
