How do I explain what GIS is in a business context The question never mentioned anything about ASIC designs, and it's hard to gage the scope of the question. We really need to know what type of business you're doing, GIS is similar to Excel in terms that you get out of it as much as you put into it. The short answer is yes, it's useful, but until we know more specifics, we can't give you more specifics |

Are North Arrows Pointless? It's funny when you put a map of Detroit, USA and Windsor, Canada where Detroit is north of Windsor. Adding the north arrow gets some interesting looks |

Generate a kml file from Google results although this method works fine, it'll only return the list of points with a label on them, i.e. the first 10 points. The second thing is, it'll display items outside of the region / state, which is not a real issue, but the first issue is crucial |

Is there a no point symbology option in ArcGIS? So it's similar to my method, just with a different symbol, does the size need to be adjusted to zero? |

Visual Studio 2008 vs 2010 for ArcGIS 10 somewhat irrelevant, Our office refuses to upgrade to winxp-3rdpack hence we can't get .net 4 |
