Error opening feature class from SDE (which can be opened in another application) Yes I did actually. Strange, I thought I had written the solution here. Since I could read the features in the third party application, the developers at the company that makes said third party app were able to export the data. The data had a unique ID (manually created, not ArcGIS automatic), so we were able to delete the old data entirely from the SDE database, then import the previously exported data and connecting it to it's connected tables using the unique ID. |

Create lines from a Blob field in ArcMap/Catalog or FME (or any other way) I contacted the makers of the third party application, and we were able to export the geometries. Since our IT department didn't store the backups longer than 7 days, backup was not an option. |

Create lines from a Blob field in ArcMap/Catalog or FME (or any other way) Thanks! Although I can't find anything in there to help me extract the geometry from my Blobs. Have any ideas? |

Error opening feature class from SDE (which can be opened in another application) Well, the problem started before I checked the system tables. And I only viewed them, didn't make any changes to them. So i didn't "mess" with them. If ArcMap didn't screw anything up, that is. |
