Thanks for the thought, but I think that does not work for me. I am trying to intersect the topo with some water surface elevation TINs (created from water surface elevation values on riverine cross sections) that are in feet. I could change the water surface elevation values on the cross sections to meter as a workaround though.

Actually, I should have left it NONE! The issue was because by default it was set to Id. I changed it to NONE and it worked perfectly. Thanks much!

I tried it using version 10.1 too but I am having the same issue. The TIN gets distorted and the clipped result is totally different. I am not sure what is going on. Any idea on how to share my data?

The clipping polygon is created by connecting the cross-sections both ends together. So two edges are the same as the two cross sections and the other two edges are created by connecting the cross-section end points.
