MODE_SNAPSHOT or MODE_ONDEMAND? Issues with both, which one to focus on? Initially before, but also after, when we can remove and add layers (as part of changing "themes"). |

MODE_SNAPSHOT or MODE_ONDEMAND? Issues with both, which one to focus on? Thanks! Yes, the performace is much better with ONDEMAND, as we are not doing a TimeSlider but applying a date range from two calendar controls. Does the not rendering until mouse moved sound familiar? That is the only negative we have with ONDEMAND. |

ESRI JS API 3.3- setExtent, when called twice, same code, different behavior, jumps Not visibly, but when I tried to check with F12 dev tools, I noticed it was in Compatibility View (but not Quirks mode). Switched to normal IE9 mode, and could no longer inspect the size of the map div (wth??), AND THE PROBLEM GOES AWAY. So, it appears this has something to do with IE9 Compatibility View. |
