Developer of web maps mostly using the ArcGIS Javascript API.
I am starting out in a career in the GIS and geospatial web app development field, so I am fairly ignorant, but also very hungry to learn and genuinely grateful when someone takes the time to answer one of my questions.
I want to contribute more to this community as question answerer as I actually gain enough experience to give back.

How to upload polygon data for appending to a geodatabase via a JS API web application Thanks very much @Devdatta. I'll be using your advice to start. I may have some follow questions as I work into this, but I will try to report back how it works out either way. |

Trouble with accesing API code: “ReferenceError: esri is not defined” @DerekSwingley I will gladly post some code to get help with this, but my project has 111 lines of html and 267 lines of a separate but referenced JS file. I'm not sure which part of all that would be useful for diagnosis. For a little more information, the error is simply occurring at the line where the esri object is first used. If I comment out that function, the error will still happen at the next instance. |
