The radius you are using, 6378137.0 m corresponds to the equatorial radius of the Earth. Is there a reason to that? Wouldn't using a medium radius be more precise ?

Where does this geojson come from ? The syntax is really strange, e.g. '"Type": 8' should be something like '"Type":FeatureCollection'.Try cleaning it with geojsonlint.com, remove the upper case lettre, etc

The XAPI Query Builder is not limited to .5 degree max. But its "live query" mode is. Click on the "Overpass API" link for example and it will work fine.

Yes you are right, I can use only poly_geom1. The execution time is exactly the same but the query shorter
