just a guess here but do you actually have a schema called schema?

yeah thing is it works in a previous version, we are testing in the following days with Collate because in Postgis it is using "XXX.XXXX" and if we changed this to "English,XX" it works. So maybe dot notation is the culprit here.

have you checked the Rectangles Ovals Digitizing plugin, it might have something there already in the code you can review github.com/vinayan/RectOvalDigitPlugin

comment Is it possible to export a XSD from a GML
To me it seems the XML contains GML references but its not purely GML, something like AIXM data for aviation extranet.eurocontrol.int/http://webprisme.cfmu.eurocontrol.int/… so you would need the XSD I guess for what you need. What ETL tool are you using?

comment Importing kml google earth polygons to QGIS
try this first, using openlayers plugin add google satellite view and since you created the polygons in GE they should match, if they don't you have an issue there. Although your problem may be more related to the fact the MrSID file you have you dont know its projection, MrSID projection information is held in a file *.aux, do you have the file in the same folder of the image

comment Is there a way to have a choropleth map in Excel reading data from a sheet?
Isn't the fun part? Trying to fulfill what they want? There must be some kind of solution I think, maybe just a VBA code that launches a browser with leafletjs. Already suggested other solutions but I think they are more comfortable with Excel for the data, probably because most people can open it and explore

Seems to do something similar to what I need but it is based in LibreOffice and the client wants Excel, there must be something that doesn't involve convoluted transformation to freeforms hopefully. Nice extension and I will keep in mind for other projects

What version are you using of QGIS? It might be a bug you can report at hub.qgis.org

no you can't because they don't use the same algorithm libraries

comment Open QGIS project on different computers
open the qgs file with a text editor and look up for the location of the file, can you paste that to see it? I had similar issue in Windows, look up for "datasource", I had issues where qgis saved "../../../../../data" instead of just "../data"

comment How to filter data by category, then map only maximum-value row for each?
Apparently the dataset has already the shape length already so that step can be avoided
