I'm a staff member at the University of Waterloo dealing with all things Geomatics-related. Most notably early-year GIS course support, Web GIS, GPS, and programming.

My background is in Computer Science and GIS (B.Sc, M.Sc. from the short-lived Geoinformatics program at the University of Windsor). My research focus there was integrating knowledge representation standards (ontologies, etc.) and AI/reasoning techniques with spatial decision support systems for the purposes of environmental monitoring.
